Director, Brand Lead, Biosimilar Launch
$500 million! That’s the savings Sandoz has provided in just two years to the US healthcare system as a result of the successful adoption of one of our oncology supportive care biosimilar into clinical practice. Sandoz has eight biosimilar approved globally – including four in the US – and more than ten in the pipeline. Maybe that’s you.<br><br>Director, Brand Lead, Biosimilar Launch is responsible for the development, adaptation and implementation of the US marketing strategy, tactical implementation and commercial success of an upcoming biosimilar launch in the osteoporosis and oncology segments. He or she is essentially accountable to engage all members of the Launch Management Team and other key stakeholders in the execution of an aligned strategy, cross functional tactical plan to optimize market share, revenue and profitability growth while respecting allocated budgets and Sandoz values and behaviors.<br><br>•Lead a biosimilar launch preparation, targeting a Brand of ~$4b market value<br>•Lead the development and execution of the launch commercial strategies, marketing tactical plan and budget planning while keeping strong alignment with Global colleagues and the Sandoz Executive Team<br>•Acts as brand champion to create focus, alignment and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies<br>•Lead a Cross functional team with Governance meetings, optimal communication and establishes a close alignment with key functions engaged such as Market Access, Insight & Analytics, Contract & Pricing, Launch Management, Medical, Regulatory, supply chain team, Market Access, Sales in the development and execution of aligned strategies and tactics. <br>•Based on strong insight, prioritizes appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments and aim to create innovative business opportunities while proactively looking for franchise synergies between Business Units.<br>•Provides effective leadership and alignment of priorities across key internal, Global and cross divisional functions and keep the Sandoz Executive Committee informed on progress with regular launch update communication<br>•Collaborates with the local and global team on product prioritization, life cycle management and engage with the local & Global supply teams to develop a robust supply chain plan to minimize supply disruption<br>•In collaboration with market access, sales, Launch Project and the Insight & analytics team, develop a comprehensive set of sales forecast scenarios and sensitivity analyses and implements demand plan for assigned products.<br>•Monitor the market landscape and develops strategies to mitigate or build upon competitor offerings.<br>•Lead or engage with strategic external partnerships, including manufacturing organizations, agency or records, contract sales organizations.<br>•Ensures the Sandoz Promotion Practices (SP3) and local law/regulations are appropriately followed<br>•Key interfaces include Global Team, Launch Excellence, Market Access, Business Analytics, Pricing, Supply Chain and planners, BD&L, Sales and Supply Analytics <br>•Ensures most effective use of resource allocation to ensure effective performance and proactively look for synergies between brands and Business Units<br>•Post launch, monitors brand performance, competitive environment and market share to quickly identify needed changes to achieve Brand objectives<br><br>[#video#https://youtu.be/ggbnzRY9z8w{#400,300#}#/video#]
