About the Role

The Associate Director, Marketing Strategy will be responsible for developing a

best-in-class marketing strategy for an emerging brand within the breast cancer franchise, playing a vital role in providing essential input, insights, and associated deliverables to guide the planning and implementation of an integrated patient experience. Working closely with the Director, Marketing Strategy and members of the integrated marketing team, this individual will take the lead to ensure that the Patient Marketing Strategy is effectively produced into patient-centric campaigns, tactics and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an indication lead for a growing breast cancer brand, executing an integrated marketing plan into personalized and tailored experiences across different audiences, segments and channels.

• Identify and incorporate insights to engage patients across the full brand lifecycle, improve impact and create communities of practice on effective marketing tactics.

• Lead development of creative concepts and messaging architecture, and crafting lead assets for Patients (e.g. patient brochure, social/digital, TV Ad).

• Partner with other Integrated Marketing Organization functions to align and create audience-first content and cutting edge marketing tactics that support patient experience with the brand and maximize business results.

• Work in alignment with other of the team (DTC, HCP, Peer to Peer) to support and deliver one integrated plan for the brand to achieve business objectives; define resourcing requirements and manage the allocated budget.

• Identify and uncover barriers and opportunities to optimize patient experience; defining the human opportunity & prioritizing to drive brand growth.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400.00 and $237,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The ideal location for this role is East Hanover, NJ but remote work may be possible (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific to the East Hanover, NJ office for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

Role Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of consumer marketing experience, with ideal candidate having some previous Women’s Health experience. Pharma experience a plus.

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in leveraging data, analytics, and customer insights in the US Market

• Proven understanding of principles of brand management, including brand positioning, personality & overall campaign development and execution.

• Expert in developing and executing consumer marketing campaigns across all channels (e.g. TV, Digital, Social, Web, POC, CRM).

• Agile leader who thrives in supporting high-performing brands in highly competitive categories within the US; recent launch experience for a consumer product and/or blockbuster specialty treatments a plus.

• Experience working with and managing multiple external agency teams including advertising, media, digital and analytics agency partners.

• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate and influence effectively with various individuals and teams including Product, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Finance.

• Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, execution and follow through.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and collaborators.

• Proven ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
