Job Purpose

About the role: As an Associate Director in the ICCR group, you will be leading the implementation and operational processes for Institutional Contracts and overseeing a team. This includes:

• Ensuring the accurate and timely system set-up and payment of all contractual rebate obligations for Institutional customers,

• Leading through inquiry resolution with customers and the account management team,

• Managing SOX controls related to ICCR and interacting with auditors (internal/external),

• Participating in projects, and

• People management and development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Serving as the central point of contact for the pricing and contracting team on all membership and rebate operations matters related to a designated account list.

• Leading a team of membership analysts to ensure accurate contract setup, membership/chargeback validation, and rebate adjudication to customers and address any customer-specific issues that arise. Provide training, guidance, and general oversight.

• Providing supporting information and documentation for issue resolution with customers.

• Collaborating with the pricing and contracting team to assess brand contracting strategies and to prioritize and review any membership/chargeback issues, strategies, or projects.

• Leading the team in development and execution of contract analytics for evaluation of contract performance across all segments.

• Preparing regular reports for management and key stakeholders. Ensuring proper recording of rebate claims and tracking key department metrics.

• Overseeing innovative solution design for system set-up, validation, processing and tracking of payments. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures (SOX, etc.).

• Managing associates in daily responsibilities and prove training and development.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400 and $237,600 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree subject area in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred; advanced degree (i.e., MBA) a plus

Work Experience

• At minimum 7+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience

• Proficiency with MS Office applications including advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities

• Advanced understanding of legal aspects of contracts and contract interpretation as well as potential pricing impacts

• Supervisory skills are necessary to effectively delegate to, motivate and evaluate staff. Important competencies include teamwork, problem solving, innovation, organization, attention to detail, leadership and customer focus

• Experience in contract reviewing/writing, account measurement, reporting, and forecasting

Desirable Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical contracting and its market segments

• Experience in membership validation and maintenance, rebate adjudication, and chargeback processing with a working knowledge in class of trade and customer identifiers

• Ability to manage complex contracts and understand potential pricing impacts

• Proficiency with life science applications. Model N, Revitas, SAP a plus

Languages

• Fluency in English required with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information and data sets in an understandable and compelling manner
