About the Role

Location: East Hanover, NJ

This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located re-motely. Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.

The Director, Demand Management & Prioritization Lead will oversee demand forecasting and prioritization for product tactical activities, services and resources across the US commercial organization. This role will report directly to the Head of Marketing Operations to continually evolve demand planning to manage lead generation and the continuous optimization, minimize forecast variability and meet strategic objectives. This individual will drive demand planning as a central discipline within the organization, working across Integrated Marketing Organization to ensure launches and inline products achieve business brand or portfolio goals and financial outcomes.

Major Accountabilities

•Centralize, streamline, accelerate planning & end-to-end tactical execution management to drive asset tactic & cross channel effectiveness & efficiencies

•Enable demand intake process to consolidate comprehensive tactical plans across all the products and disciplines

•Define and implement process for end-to-end tactical execution management and drive change management to ensure adoption

•Develop accurate and timely demand forecast to minimize forecast variability

•Analyze and flag the demand-related issues/risks in a timely and accurate manner

•Ensure alignment of demand forecast with estimates and/or provide reconciliation and analysis of variance

•Manage budget across Integrated Marketing Organization disciplines activities execution and deployment

•Provide input and facilitate business process assessments, making recommendations and facilitating implementation within the Marketing Operations group

•Adhere to the business plan for the Marketing Operations group, reflecting clear alignment with the Integrated Marketing Organization’s strategic priorities

•Drive automation for scaled demand operations through demand management platform

•Assess activities & spend to identify optimization opportunities and drive agency rationalization on & across brands, assess/reduce tactic fees

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $201,600.00 and $302,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company re-serves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Role Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred.

•Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial Marketing in a regulated industry

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading demand forecasting and prioritization for products, services and resources

•Commercial and/or cross-functional experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Consumer Packaged Goods, preferred

•Experience in business planning, marketing, data, insights, analytics preferred

•Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key issues

•Experience in enabling Martech solutions for commercial operations

•Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvements in business processes and associated underpinning technologies

•Strong leader with ability to motivate teams, build strong capabilities and develop talent

•Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders

•Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
