If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesMainframe Performance and Capacity Management professional is responsible for measuring, analyzing, reporting and tuning the performance of existing IT resources. Capacity Planning is responsible to plan for optimal IT resources required to fulfill current and future requirements. Data collection and reporting. Use, install and upgrade system tools. Participate in DR tests.This position also requires to make architecture improvement solution recommendations to the account team and do the presentations to the client.Maintenance and administration of software tools like MICS, MXG and SAS are part of the position responsibilities.Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance Level 2 - Secret is required for this position.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bilingual in English and French.+ Facility to use and maintain those tools:Computer Associated MICS.SAS.zPCR (Processor Capacity Reference for IBM System z).zCP3000 .RMF I + II + III + Post Processing (Resource Measurement Facility)MXG * WLM (Workload Manager).Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience using Problem and Change tools (Maximo).+ Experience using Microsoft Word , Excel and Lotus Notes.+ Experience with being involved in audits and how to present material in an audit.Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.About Business UnitAt Global Technology Services (GTS), we help our clients envision the future by offering end-to-end IT and technology support services, supported by an unmatched global delivery network.
