What you’ll be doing...

Additional requirement:

Deliver new products and “segment fit” existing products that meet/exceed the needs of small, medium, and mid-sized businesses and help the SMB product organization achieve associated targets. Products may include but not be limited to: fixed wireless access, strategic network, software-defined network , advanced communications, security, technical support and other value-added services.Deliver a clear strategic vision and roadmap. Have multiple horizons as a Segment Leader to win now, but also have the right approach to win tomorrow and in the future.

  • Perform an objective financial analysis of a potential market opportunity to provide a basis for investment. Articulate what you learned from research to inform a recommendation and quantify the risk, including a financial model.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit.
  • Map needs with target markets and analyze the market segments to actively pursue. Ensure that the targeted segments are large enough to support the current and future business of our portfolio of products.
  • Describe the product by its ability to solve market problems. Create internal positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on each key buyer or personal.
  • You are a visionary but you also know what makes business sense and how to get it done. A successful new segment fit solution can literally redefine the course of a business and this knowledge inspires you. You motivate others to do their best work. When making decisions, you expertly balance the needs of all parties.
  • Research and document the buying process that the target personas use to select a product. Understand the barriers that buyers encounter during their selection process.
  • Illustrate market problems in a "story" that puts the problem in context. User stories are one component of requirements.
  • Articulate and prioritize personas and their problems so that the appropriate products can be built.
  • Determine which channels best align with the markets' buying preferences.
  • Manage proactive communications with relevant stakeholders from strategy through execution.
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market. Assess their strengths and weaknesses. Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • Sales, Solution Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management or Solution Architecture experience
  • Agile and/or Lean experience and/or certification.
  • Critical Thinking and Design Thinking experience and/or certification
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000 and $221,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
