This position is responsible for supporting and/or leading key strategic and operational projects critical to maintaining and improving Deloitte University operations. A successful manager will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Deloitte University operating model and strategic priorities. The individual should employ a forward-looking approach to identify potential opportunities for improvement. The individual should be able to interface with DU Leadership and other leaders across the firm to assess complex issues and adequately communicate proposed solutions.

Projects will range in complexity and scope, and will be focused on improving operational efficiencies, executing capital improvements, and enhancing the overall guest experience. The successful individual will have a passion for customer service and the willingness to take on new challenges.

Work you'll do

  • Collaborate with the Deloitte University Operations Leader to identify operational priorities and translate them into project needs; includes food & beverage, transportation, facilities management, housekeeping, and overall guest experience
  • Work closely with onsite hospitality providers to understand operational challenges and opportunities
  • Support and/or lead both informal and high-profile projects, develop thoughtful analysis, gain consensus, and obtain necessary approvals
  • Identify and communicate objectives, scope, approach and detailed actions required to successfully execute and deliver a project / initiative
  • Develop persuasive management presentations and other support materials to drive the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Work with Deloitte University leadership to provide other value-added services to meet operations needs
  • Ensure open communications and quick and accurate responses to project requests
  • Ensure the coordination of operational processes across multiple cross functional teams including Meeting & Event Services, Finance, Talent, ITS, Real Estate, Client Experience and Communications
  • Remain flexible if situations arise that require immediate attention and problem solving

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5-8 years' experience in operations and/or project management in a professional services environment
  • Ability to understand complex issues and translate into implementable solutions
  • Desire to take on challenging projects with high profile stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a consultative style
  • Leadership/Change management - Ability to build consensus and work as part of a results-focused team
  • Guest-experience and hospitality focus to meet platinum level guest experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project
