What you’ll be doing...

Primary function is to help audit, optimize and consolidate 3rd Party Data Center space and power across our 150 plusVendors by joining Carrier Management as a member of the Vendor Management Team. This group is tasked with both procuring new space and power as well as determining where we can alleviate cost.

  • Manage data center space/power augment requests that come through from various organizations. Validate requirements, review site to ensure space & power efficiency where applicable and recommend alternative options where viable. Coordinate with external suppliers to obtain quotes.
  • Work with Operations to have site audits completed, review audits and recommend consolidation & cost savings opportunities to Engineering and PM those opportunities to completion.
  • Support Sr. Contract Managers with gathering data (Financial, Invoice, and Inventory) to support renewals.
  • Work with internal organizations to resolve issues that impact normal business activities.
  • Identify & solution process gaps that lead to operational efficiencies and potential cost saving opportunities.
  • Insure all systems and tools are updated with pertinent contract documentation.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

Working either independently or as part of a team to solve a problem is enjoyable to you. You’re great at following an established process or procedure to complete tasks, but enjoy thinking outside the box. Experience navigating and working well at all levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing network environment. You are dependable and enjoy the flexibility necessary to support the rotational needs of our customers.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets OR Smartsheets.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with invoice validation ordata center audit.
  • Knowledge of 3rd Party Data Center billing.
  • Experience in the Telecom/Data Center industry.
  • Project management skills (PMP preferred).
  • Experience in contract negotiation.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $76,000 and $141,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
