This role is for a Digital Capability Manager within the Enabling Functions Business Applications Team supporting Procurement.

The Digital Capability Manager will closely partner with IT service providers, application vendors, BMS IT teams (IT Plan, Identity, Service Integration, Cyber Security, External Partner etc.) and business functions to ensure proper ongoing operations, as well as delivering new, or enhanced capabilities.

The Digital Capability Manager is accountable for the successful end to end delivery of IT services, innovation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on excellence in service delivery.

This role will lead a team focusing on the global IT delivery of Contract Lifecycle Management solution from Icertis delivering new capabilities and integrations with several other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business and IT Plan functions to develop solutions for business problems including defining business requirements, providing project timelines and budget, developing acceptance criteria, testing, training, and change management plans.
  • Manage the IT Business Applications procurement portfolio to ensure the delivery of digital capabilities are being met in accordance with the IT Operating Model.
  • Accountable for delivering on project implementations and operational support commitments.
  • Collaborate directly with the business clients and IT Business Partners on delivery of digital capabilities.
  • Partner with Solution Architecture teams to develop and execute architectural strategies for Enabling Functions capabilities
  • Establishes and measures unit performance metrics and ensures IT delivery resources are appropriately engaged to meet project commitments.
  • Partners very closely with adjacent IT teams to ensure the delivery and operations of digital capabilities, and that Corporate Application Services capabilities are fully understood and leveraged.
  • Matrix leadership of IT resources: responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services.
  • Negotiates technical solutions with business areas to ensure goals and objectives are met while supporting their business objectives.
  • Participate in Security Risk Assessments and Application Vulnerabilities Assessments reviews and remediation across the Corporate Application portfolio landscape.
  • Contribute to future state integration roadmap for IT Enabling functions, develop, and communicate Procurement Digital Capability Roadmap
  • Communicate Ideas, innovation thinking and opportunities to Procurement and IT stakeholders


  • BS (required), Major in CS, CIS, MIS or equivalent. MS or related advanced degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in IT with demonstrated success in delivering and supporting SaaS and custom-built solutions and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providers.
  • Experience with Icertis CLM platform a plus
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Contract Management a plus
  • 3+ years domain experience in procurement systems and comfort with both the business and technical processes is a plus
  • Experienced in working with managed service providers
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate strategic capabilities and direction, status of requests and issues both with IT Business Partner Organizations and core functional teams.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the confidence to both influence and partner to build strong relationships with IT colleagues, business partners, external technology partners and service providers.
  • Ability to apply technical solutions to business processes.
  • Strong Project Management skills, and experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
