What you’ll be doing...

We are constantly innovating to unleash the power of our network and technology and you can ensure that we stay at the forefront, providing an unequaled customer experience. You’ll lead a team that works with internal as well as external partners across all RAN engineering organizations. You will be managing a team who is responsible for equipment engineering, budgets, and implementation of existing and new small cell solutions. Your role will involve negotiating with vendors, and partners and managing external stakeholders for smooth project deliveries in time. As a project management leader, you’ll build strong cross-functional relationships and work to ensure all projects are aligned with business objectives.

  • Leading a team of professionals, planning and reviewing their work, and removing barriers and solving problems to help them be productive.
  • Building processes to gather process improvement insights from the team.
  • Developing detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; tracking key project milestones while anticipating and mitigating any risks/issues that arise.
  • Applying standard project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet internal and external customer expectations.
  • Translating project requirements into project objectives and tasks.
  • Reporting on project progress throughout the project lifecycle or specific phases.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete projects.
  • Communicating major milestones and identifying potential project risks; conducting regular status meetings to review project activities; managing prioritization procedures.
  • Setting and managing stakeholder expectations, and managing and escalating issues and changes.
  • Managing scope and applying change control procedures when necessary.
  • Evaluating the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives, assigning tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations, determining tentative implementation dates, and tracking the results of the implementation.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing a team.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of project management experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience successfully completing complicated tasks with little to no supervision or direction.
  • Experience managing projects involving internal and external teams.
  • Experience with G Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
  • Knowledge of business process development and improvement.
  • Experience leading a virtual or distributed team.
