Overview:

The Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety (GRACS) Intelligent Integration & Labeling Management team is responsible for the integration of labeling information from various systems of record supporting business processes to optimize job tasks and provides greater visibility across the end-to-end regulatory landscape. This initiative has global reach.

This Labeling Management project includes: No Component Left Behind (NCLB) and Business Workflow Enablement for Labeling (BWEL), These are software applications that support the business in managing their ‘labeling’ deliverables to the health authorities (i.e. FDA) with quality, compliance, risk reduction and visibility as a primary focus. This program resides within the Merck Research Laboratories (MRL) division.

Your Fellowship Project

Our team is enthusiastic and highly collaborative. We are seeking an energetic team player, with an attention to detail. This position is for someone who has an interest in IT system development and is looking to expand analytical, critical thinking, formal documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities will include the following activities (depends on the projects progression at the time of onboarding):

  • Authoring formal system functional specification requirements
  • Authoring, dry running and reviewing user acceptance test scripts in Application Lifecycle Management tool
  • Authors traceability document
  • Monitors gap analysis between requirements and test scripts

This opportunity may challenge and grow your skills and talents through progressive on the job training and development of interpersonal and leadership skills.

The intent of the fellowship is to:

  • Support activities for a new software release, NCLB 1.0, est. release date May 2023
  • Restructure BWEL requirement documentation, retire current documentation and create new documentation and trace matrices

  • Interest in learning IT solutions (i.e. Application Lifecycle Management)

Primary Work Site/Schedule

  • Hybrid Office Environment (onsite/remote) at the following Merck Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA
  • 100% Remote is okay
