Overview:
Animal Health Global Supplier Management (AH-GSM) is an organization of approximately 200 professionals with the common objective of compliant, competitive, and innovative acquisition of goods & services from leading suppliers who deliver a competitive advantage to Merck. AH-GSM manages approximately $2.5B in third party spend through an organizational structure that leverages categorical and regional subject matter expertise.

Your Fellowship Project
The Animal Health Packaging Category is seeking a Data Analyst to support the category. The Analyst will partner with Category & Sub-Category Leads to create & assess category data & initiate data “clean up”. The Analyst will support work in a collaborative, team environment and develop, execute and manage data for the team.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
· Familiarize yourself with our data reporting tool (Aera)
· Interpret data sets, analyze results, and draw conclusions using statistics methodologies
· Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes
· Determine logic-based rules to identify data inaccuracies
· Partner with Diversity, Risk, Process Excellence, and Business Intelligence teams as appropriate
In addition:
· Support the implementation of critical projects for Animal Health Packaging initiatives
· Understand the day-to-day decisions, opportunities and challenges
· Provide Packaging innovation & sustainability insight to the team
· Implement and manage programs related to Supplier Management, Risk Mitigation, Contract Management, People Management and Development

Primary Work Site/Schedule
- 100% Remote/Hybrid: Monday-Thursday (9:00am – 5:00pm US Eastern Time)
- On-Site is possible with preference to NJ/PA locations.
- The fellowship maybe completed 100% remote however full-time positions afterwards may require relocation to one our US locations (preference to NJ/PA locations)
