With strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.<br><br>The Associate Director, Trade & GPO Account Management will serve as a key member of the Trade and GPO team for all US products. This role will lead specific account engagements and participate in strategic and tactical planning, execution and account management for the entire Novartis portfolio. This position has responsibility for creating cost effective partnerships with assigned accounts to ensure product availability and appropriate patient access. <br><br>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br><br>Strategy Development to achieve US Innovative Medicines business goals.<br><br>•Responsible for complete business ownership of assigned Trade and GPO accounts<br>•Develop analytics-driven account specific contract strategies in line with Product Strategy sales goals and customer needs<br>•Drive strategic account development integrating deeper and broader with Trade and GPO accounts to gather competitive intelligence and customer insights to better lead contract negotiations with key assigned Accounts<br>•Establish multilevel vendor relationships with assigned accounts allowing for strategic dialogue between parties <br><br>Customer Management<br><br>•Leverage analytics to support contract strategies designed to build long-term relationships with assigned accounts, based on deep understanding of the organization, structure, business strategy and priorities<br>•Builds relationships with significant Trade and GPO accounts and stakeholders, including Trade Operations; interfaces with key customers to understand their needs, perspective and issues <br>•In partnership with Novartis Trade Operations and Managed Markets Finance, ensure financial and data integrity and adequate data flows between the company and distribution / GPO accounts and trade partners. <br>•Develop and disseminate distribution related modeling, analytics and reporting to ensure accurate information and timeliness<br>•Ability to work with internal and external partners to redress pricing and access issues through a deep understanding of Novartis, wholesaler and GPO contracts and systems. <br>•Act as a subject matter expert for GPO and distribution network in line and launch products.<br><br>This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require up to 20% plus travel.
