Our Finance team acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to business management on strategies and operational decisions providing financial perspectives into overall strategic and tactical decision making. Position Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Leader to partner to the business, lead and support primary AH Procurement Indirect and our Company's Animal Health Technology Solutions procurement in many aspects of supplier relationships such as: Vendor selection, contract negotiation & review, supplier risk assessments, savings calculations, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as well as financial decisions in support of the overall AH objectives. The position will report to the Finance Director, AH Global Supplier Management.

You will have exposure to senior leadership and be able to build and develop your career within the organization.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and oversee financial reporting and controls associated with AH Technology Solutions procurement

  • Manage various aspects of AH-GSM relationship through collaboration with finance, procurement, and operations stakeholders

  • Analyze contract award proposals for Indirect spend confirming cost savings and assessing other terms and conditions

  • Perform required supplier financial health assessments for new suppliers identified during project initiatives

  • Provide business case support for supply decisions based on cost optimization

  • Review and provide feedback on supplier awards prior to Animal Health Technology Solutions leadership and Global Sourcing Committee

  • Prepare and analyze monthly results, forecasts, and other reports for use by management. Preparation of these reports requires a comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing accounting policies, procedures, and cost system

  • Support development of digital solutions as necessary. Identify dashboards, reports and analyses that can be completed using a digital solution as opposed to current excel workbooks

  • Prepare financial analysis: cash flows, Net Present Value (NPV), income statements, balance sheets

  • Take significant role in the annual Budget and LROP process

  • Provide management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance and risk

  • Provide finance support for any other ad hoc issues that may develop.

  • Visit suppliers, if necessary, therefore international travel may be required

  • Be part of a team that provides strong finance support to the business

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • BS in Finance, Economics or Accounting or similar field of study

  • MBA / CPA / CMA Preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ of demonstrated experience in an accounting, finance or similarly positioned role

  • Demonstrated ability to act in a business partnership role, advising and guiding

  • Strong influencing, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lead through change and ambiguity

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Candidate must be highly proficient working with MS Office tools (mostly Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical / biological manufacturing operations

  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing finance or cost accounting related role

  • Ability to work independently and be decisive in ambiguous environment

  • Excellent data analytics required alongside ability to take an assumptions-based approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other educational backgrounds accepted in context of business experience, demonstrating strong financial and analytical skills, and ability to serve as a team leader

Expected salary range:

$118,640.00 - $186,800.00
