Your Role and Responsibilities

• Product life cycle management engineer to work with small team of IT professionals.
• Handle user requirements gathering and design data extract, transform, and load requirements.
• Provide data modeling, data transformation, and knowledge curation for product life cycle management application.
• Administer the deployed databases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology,Computer Science, or Managmement Information Systems.
• At least five years of experience designing and deploying databases for software applications, performing database and information warehouse administration, and designing/executing data extract-transform-and-load.
• IBM certified level 2 Enterprise Data Base Administration.
• High proficiency in Korn Shell Scripting (or BASH, Python).
• Working experience in UNIX administration (user management, privileging, file system provisioning, crontab, etc.).

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with RDB DB2Perf V4+ software strongly preferred.
• IBM certified level 3 Enterprise Data Base Administration.
• Five plus year experience with IBM DB2 LUW (Linux Unix Windows) Partition Enterprise Addition for Big Data running on AIX/POWER Cognitive Systems.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
