SAP Data Management Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an SAP Functional Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.
You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Provide expert level business process guidance on data management functionalities within SAP including: BI (including BW, BODS, BAPI), ETL, Data Archiving, Data Migration, Data Conversion and Data Loads, Data Distribution, Data Maintenance, Data Governance, Data Analysis, Data Extracts and Reporting, Data Mapping, Data Validation, Data Reconciliation, and Data Refreshes and Upgrades
- Data migration to SAP
- Plan and lead major technology assignments
- Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, including supervising others
- Share knowledge of new emerging technologies such as SAP HANA or equivalent

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 10 years of SAP experience
- Ability to earn a DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience within SAP in at least two (2) of the following listed below: SAP T-Codes, Applications, and Tools; BI (including BW, BODS, BAPI); Data Archiving; Data Migration; Data Conversion and Data Loads; Data Distribution; Data Maintenance; Data Governance; Data Analysis; Data Extracts and Reporting; Data Mapping; Data Validation; Data Reconciliation; and Data Refreshes and Upgrades
- Experience with Relational and Object-Oriented Databases, various Programming Languages (e.g. JAVA, SQL, C, C+), various Data Management Tools (e.g. MDG, Attunity Gold Client Software, SAP Archiving, Oracle, Informatica), various Data Modelling Tools (e.g. ERWIN, SAFYR, SADIE), various Data Reporting Tools (e.g. Cognos, Crystal Reports, SAS), various SAP Tools, Configuration and Release Management Tools (e.g. Dimensions, HEAT, QC).

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
