Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
This assignment is located within the Global Expert Management and Strategy (GEMS) team within, Global Medical Values and Capabilities (GMVC). This function exists within the broader Global Medical & Scientific Affairs (GMSA), which is part of our company Research Laboratories (MRL). GEMS is the Center of Excellence to plan, design, enable, and oversee compliant, customer-focused and strategically aligned activities to drive world-class, evidence-based global & regional advisory meetings and medical educational activities aiming to advance healthcare.
The intern in this assignment will be responsible for supporting an annual review and validation process for:
New employee Onboarding resources specifically related to the Global Expert Management and Strategy (GEMS)
Country Requirements process data
For the new employee onboarding resources, it will be critical for the intern to review available information and determine if there are any gaps in data. The intern will offer a unique perspective as they are fully immersed in the information (without any prior knowledge of the role) and be able to feel confident that appropriate information and support is available to assist onboarding into this defined role.
For the country requirements data, the intern will conduct an audit of the available information and validate that the data is complete and current for 80+ countries.
Key responsibilities
Review current repository of onboarding data and ensure data is current (links work, etc.)
Identify gaps in resources or support for specific topics related to GEMS manager onboarding
Partner with 2-3 of the most recent hires to validate information & findings
Communicate with our company subsidiary personnel responsible for country requirements data.
Maintain a log of country input received, review requested changes with GEMS Team Lead
Create deliverables as described below at conclusion of internship
Key Deliverables
Create presentation with recommendations where gaps exist, or where additional resources may be needed to support a new GEMS manager employee.
Develop a spreadsheet summarizing the countries that have been contacted and reconfirmed; and include an audit history of updates requested.

Required Education:
Candidates must be a college student with a major in: Business or Science field.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
