NITD is renowned for applying cutting-edge technologies to the discovery of high-quality clinical candidates for the treatment of global health diseases.<br><br>Your responsibilities:<br><br>The successful candidate is a project manager and drug discovery expert who will work directly with drug discovery teams to define the team strategy, support operational excellence and build high performance team. Our project managers help to drive innovative science and team excellence from target discovery, screening, optimization, candidate selection, IND enabling studies and early clinical studies through phase 2a proof-of-concept (PoC) in humans. <br><br>As a project manager your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:<br><br>- Work with project team leaders and functional leaders to define project strategy, develop and maintain integrated project plans, and manage diverse teams across multiple sites to meet project timelines/goals<br>- Continuously work to adapt project strategy based on internal and external information <br>- Ensure that key milestones and go / no go criteria are data driven and clearly defined. <br>- Make sure project information is accurate and included in the system(s) in a timely matter. <br>- Communicate project status, issues and options for resolution to ensure optimal and timely information flow to all stakeholders <br>- Foster effective, proactive and open communication within and across project teams in order to achieve transparency and clarity of program goals, progress and issues <br>- Work to build and maintain effective and high-performing teams focused on effective cross functional communication, decision-making and resolving issues <br>- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with external partners and funding agencies.
