If so, we want to hear from you!<br> <br>https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/ggbnzRY9z8w<br> <br> <br>Job Purpose:<br><br>The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) helps minimize access & reimbursement barriers for patients and providers to optimize access to Inclisiran. <br> <br>Within their geography, the FRM is responsible for addressing access barriers by strategically working with key customers and accounts to refine policies and solve the most complex patient access issues. The FRM proactively provides education and support on Inclisiran access programs for community practices, medical groups and facilities, and their staff. They serve as the key contact responsible for reimbursement and access support-related matters for Inclisiran. The FRM will provide education and support the integration of account implementation plans for Inclisiran with practices and sites of care where applicable. They also develop compliant and customer-centric reimbursement support strategies and proactively communicate payer policy criteria related to Inclisiran. Additionally, the FRM will analyze reimbursement and access issues and, in conjunction with their manager, act as the local access and reimbursement resource for internal Novartis partners in their assigned geography. The FRM will coordinate cross functionally within Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (NPC) (i.e. ADSAR, Market Access, PSS, Field Sales and applicable third-parties) to support drug accessibility.<br> <br>Major Accountabilities <br> <br>Inclisiran Reimbursement Program Support <br>• Subject matter expert on the payer landscape for Inclisiran, proactively provides education to facilities and partners on regional and local payer policies and processes.<br>• Work with internal partners to build strategic patient access and reimbursement account plans and review franchise, market access, and PSS business plans and objectives. <br>• Identify facilities that are capable of buying & billing for priority engagement. <br>• Implement the region access POA with assigned accounts/customers as directed by Area Reimbursement Lead<br>• Provide insights and updates regarding account implementation plans (e.g. actual level of centralization) to ensure overall territory POA is updated and current. <br>•Educate facility staff on NPC policies related to Inclisiran acquisition, inventory management, product returns and replacement to support full integration of product into practice workflow<br>•Provide information to key staff members (i.e., practice manager, nursing, billing, and reimbursement staff) in order to appropriately support patient access to Inclisiran. <br>•Collaborate with ARL and/or ADSAR appropriately to share insights into customer needs, potential barriers and payer issues/opportunities for Inclisiran access at the facility level.<br><br>Reimbursement Support <br>•Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, anticipate and address patient and practice reimbursement issues; Implement updates/changes to POA based on solutions generated to address issues.<br>•In conjunction with the ADSAR and payer team, act as the Inclisiran coverage and reimbursement expert for facility offices, cardiology practices and local field teams. <br>•Communicate and explain payer policy updates or system changes that impact access to Inclisiran in assigned accounts.<br>•Under guidance of the ARL, provide reimbursement insights to local field teams, and Novartis home office functions as needed. <br>•Proactively communicate Novartis specific patient services programs, policies, procedures and resource so that office staff is fluent in how to use access programs for Inclisiran.<br>•Support questions associated with patient coverage, access, and reimbursement from accounts in collaboration and coordination with the HUB as directed by policy and procedure. <br>•Execute NPC approved strategies to support appropriate coverage and payment. Work with HUB to minimize barriers to access in compliant manner; alert ARL if not feasible. <br>•Provide information about Inclisiran coverage, coding and reimbursement, as appropriate, both internally to appropriate functions and externally to key customers within assigned accounts. <br> <br>Fiscal Responsibility and Compliance <br>•Control business expenses related to field activities (i.e., travel, customer meetings) and provide timely expense reports to manager.<br>•Maintain a deep understanding of NPC policies and requirements and perform all responsibilities in a manner consistent with company guidance. <br>• Handle PHI appropriately.<br>• Maintain compliant relationships with relevant state, local, institutional or other societies. <br> <br>Key Performance Indicators <br>• Overall customer satisfaction and awareness related to Inclisiran programs and end-to-end reimbursement support. <br>• Education of key customers in satellite and affiliate facilities, and cardiology practices (i.e. practice managers, nursing, billing and reimbursement staff) in order to assist with Inclisiran practice integration and improve patient access in a manner consistent and compliant with company policies and requirements. <br>• Ensure customers on assigned target list and within assigned geography are aware of and know how to utilize available programs to support Inclisiran access for patients. <br>• Adherence with NPC policies, laws and regulations.
