Novartis protects 750 million patients and employs more than 100,000 employees in over 140 countries<br><br>Purpose:<br>The Manager, Reporting is a leadership position in the Accounting & Reporting team and is responsible for Sandoz Division Financial Reporting and Master Data including: a Divisional point of contact for Reporting and Master Data, month-end reporting, financial reporting, reporting review / reconciliations and liaison with internal auditors, external auditors, Financial Controls and Compliance, IT and Master Data.<br><br>Works collaboratively between site personnel, Division and Group FRA (Financial Reporting & Accounting), Sandoz Division, COE in Hyderabad and Mexico and IT and Master Data with respect to reporting and reporting processing,<br><br>Major Accountabilities<br>• Oversee preparation and review of month-end FCRS reporting process <br>• High quality and timely submissions to parent company<br>• Ensure all processes performed comply with Novartis standards and policies (i.e. global processes, Novartis Accounting Manual, Novartis Financial Controls Manual, Management Authorization Levels, etc.). <br>• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including divisional business colleagues, both internal and external accounting authorities/auditors, and Division and Group Financial Reporting and Accounting, NGSC in Mexico, COE in Hyderabad and ensure appropriate communication with these stakeholders when questions regarding accounting/reporting matters arise.<br>• Ensure all key topics are raised proactively and aligned with stakeholders to minimize surprises. Provide coordination with BPA on latest forecast versus actuals (all areas except Revenue Deductions) while maintaining objectivity<br>• Responsible for the delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets for the Sandoz Reporting function.<br>• Meet global standard for R2R processes <br>• Ensure ERP master data set up continues to enable high level of automation in preparation of FCRS reporting<br>• Ensure comprehensive understanding of franchise and market reporting for Sandoz including proper reporting of core adjustment in financial reporting systems<br>• Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets<br>• Triages and prioritizes new user requirements and system change requests for delivery by the divisional ERP competence centers<br>• Initiates removal of user access or change to authorization concept(s) to ensure the elimination of Segregation of Duties violation(s).
