We transform the lives of people by developing innovative and life-changing medicines.<br><br>The Expert Drug Supply (Materials Manager) has operational end to end responsibility for assigned supply activities. He/She/They will have responsibilities in supply planning and warehousing materials to be used in clinical trial manufacturing. The Expert Drug Supply will function as a process owner and will be accountable for process improvement initiatives and subsequently drive implementation to sustain phase within area of expertise. <br><br>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br><br>• Monitors inventory and forecast to plan for material supplies, and coordinates planned purchases based on forecast.<br>• Oversee material ordering and levels for supply, and coordinates cycle count program and maintains the accuracy of materials supply.<br>• Assists and coach team on vendor resolution, and function as a technical expert leader. Also, will serve as a mentor for junior and senior associates (academics) also globally.<br>• Contributes as unit representative on project teams and ensures that accountable deliverables are met.<br>• Assesses analysis of material readiness for projects. Communicates issues to involved stakeholders, teams, line management and propose corrective actions. <br>• Proactively drive project execution to ensure key milestones and quality are met.<br>• Act as unit representative on development teams and/or other cross functional teams<br>• Ensure compliance to Novartis and other relevant regulations.
