Payroll Taxes Manager – Americas (Remote)

Embark on a career with genuine impact! <br><br>Are you ready to make a difference?<br><br>As the Payroll Taxes Manager for the Americas, you will be responsible for ensuring all payroll taxes for Sandoz are correctly withheld, reported, paid, and filed in compliance with laws and regulations in your respective region. In addition, you will be accountable for defining and implementing the employment tax strategy, governance, principles, and risk management, in addition to supporting employment tax audits relevant to your region. <br><br>Your additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:<br>•Oversee the Global Mobility payroll tax compliance process. Review and understand the tax positions of globally mobile populations and ensure the correct approaches are followed for the payroll tax/social security reporting for these associates.<br>•Build partnerships with Global Mobility, M&A, Rewards, Compliance, Finance, Equity, Tax and Payroll teams to ensure up to date knowledge is held within the Payroll team on the specific processes. <br>•Act as a subject matter expert in your region to ensure that any tax legislation is communicated and implemented accordingly to ensure ongoing compliance. This includes the creation and maintenance of knowledge articles/one pagers on payroll tax matters of interest.<br>•Support M&A teams on the employment tax activities (mandatory registrations/termination payment calculations/share plan related issues, etc.) to be completed throughout the M&A timeline.<br>•Support vendor performance reviews based on the determined KPIs, and be actively engaged in the process improvements with the vendors and relevant functions within Sandoz <br>•Actively engage with other regional and global payroll teams to implement best practices for an effective streamlined process for all Sandoz entities<br>•Evaluate the use of technology in automating payroll tax related activities to minimize manual efforts and incidents<br><br>The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $92,800 and $139,200/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
