Clinical Training Manager - NCLEX

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
- Impact of work is most often at the local level
- Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team
- May oversee work activities of other supervisors
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
- Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
- Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external)
- Co-ordinate with operations and other departments to ensure smooth training delivery
- Collaborate with internal/external business partners using a consultative approach to identify business goals and performance gaps (e.g., leadership, Human Capital, external customers)
- Proficient is all training related activities – content development, innovation, instructional design, transformation in learning etc.
- Demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge/skills in own area and is often able to apply these outside of own function
- Translate business needs into training/development needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of the business environment and business requirements (e.g., strategy changes, emerging business needs)
- Deliver clinical science reviews using innovative methods that increase retention, and critical thinking
- Deliver ongoing strategies to maintain relative clinical acumen and business-readiness
- Demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge/skills in respects to general medical sciences, nursing and practice
- Maintains personal certifications required for the job and ability to extend mentoring to others for certification maintenance
- Key KRA will be Measurement & Evaluation of training, throughput along with attrition during training
- Collaborate with operations to understand immediate Optimal Clinical Skills Laboratory and operations requirements and prepare accordingly
- Provide support to the USRNAcademy, as well as deliver Final Coaching for imminent NCLEX examinees
- Provide support to the RN Ready programme as content developer and proof reader
- Proactively manage task assignments or update training modules as required
- Perform research required to update/develop training modules
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- BS Nursing Graduate
- USRN holder
- Demonstrate affiliation in Clinical Academe and/or NCLEX Review groups
- Minimum 2-years of experience in role as NCLEX Instructor and/or as a Clinical Instructor from a Nursing Academe
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a function similar to OCS Laboratory and/or USRNAcademy
- High level of clinical acumen and awareness
- Abreast with US healthcare standards
- Strong in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development
- Established background in training and learning experience delivery
- Engaging and Student Driven
- Hands-on Experience conducting NCLEX reviews
- Working knowledge on NCLEX Application
- Proficient in mentoring skills and Ability to mentor new trainers and take up upskilling training
- Proficient in conducting train-the-trainer and ensures quality of training with high throughput
- Ability to identify learner types and deliver training as per learner population
- Demonstrate ability to identify, recommend and use various training platforms for effective training delivery
