Eaton’s Distributed IT group is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their engineering team in Woodridge, IL. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cyber cloud security programs and initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, cloud engineering, and product development, to ensure that our product is secure and compliant in the cloud.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage cyber cloud security programs and initiatives aligning with the project security strategy.
  • Lead the implementation of cloud security solutions, including identity and access management, data encryption, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Track and report on program progress and metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud security.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 3 years of experience in program management following stage gate process, with a strong understanding of the waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Network protocol knowledge.
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Woodridge, IL location. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
  • Product development management experience of electronics products with embedded firmware / software.
  • Experience with Electronics manufacturing process.
  • 5 Years of experience in program management following stage gate process, with a strong understanding of the waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Cloud certification (Microsoft Azure fundamentals security technologies, etc).

Skills:

  • Demonstrated communication skills, verbal and written.
  • IP product development management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
