Strategic Pricing Manager

Eaton is currently seeking a Pricing Manager. This position is part of our divisional marketing team based at our Waukesha, WI Badger Drive site. This role offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office/2 days remote (relocation offered within the U.S.).

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,075 - $176,110 a year.

What you’ll do:

As a Pricing Manager, you will be a critical member across divisional teams and will identify and provide strategic pricing and marketing solutions for all products within the Power Reliability, Power Delivery and Regulation Divisions. Along with a team of three analysts, you'll analyze and translate market data and trends into actionable insights that are used across the organization.

In this role, you will:

• Work with leaders across the business to identify customers’ needs, target segments and sub-segments, and strategic direction to incorporate these insights into the pricing story.

• Discover opportunities to improve the business’s price realization performance and then build consensus among Product Marketing teams on implementation of these strategies.

• Develop market segmentation approaches to deliver increased sales and margin performance.

• Present value propositions and model business-cases for various price actions scenarios.

• Provide guidance and participate in customer needs assessment research and analysis.

• Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the electrical industry, including demand trends, product usage, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in marketing, sales, or pricing management (or a combination).

• Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or engineering is preferred.
  • Three or more experience working in the electrical industry.
  • Previous experience managing people
  • Experience with SAP, IBM SPSS Modeler, PowerBI, and Qlikview.

• Ability to travel up to 10%.
