Eaton’s Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team on 1st Shift. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility. (Bethel is located next to Danbury in the southwestern part of CT).

Position Pay Range is $17.00-$20.00hour + competitive benefits package and 401K plan.

Position Overview:

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler (SW) is responsible for assembling very small and intricate products. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.

In this function you will:

  • Assemble, setup and maintain tooling
  • Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
  • Maintain quality records
  • Interpret internal customer and supplier requirements
  • Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Position Criteria:

  • Ability to interpret written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Intermediate mechanical aptitude
