Eaton’s B-Line division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift to join our team. The pay rate for this position is $20.88/hour along with a $.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift. The hours for this role are 3PM-11PM. This position is based at our Troy, IL facility.

Position Overview:

This position requires you to operate sheet metal fabrication machines, read shop orders, read and understand engineering drawings, perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions.

In this function you will:

Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum)
Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.)

Preferred qualifications:

Experience reading blueprints
Experience with calibration equipment such as calipers
SAP experience
Computer literacy

Position Criteria:

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
Ability to be self- driven
