Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Machine Operator-II 2nd Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Reno, NV facility.

Pay Rate: $19.65/hour + $.50/hour shift differential

Shift Hours: 2:30PM-11PM

In this function you will:

  • Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
  • Troubleshoot various machinery problems
  • Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
  • QC and document all parts run on machines
  • Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
  • Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
  • Keep work areas clean and safe
  • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
  • Minimum of 6 months experience operating brake press and/ or stamping press machines
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 12+ months of Experience operating brake or stamping presses
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
  • 6+ months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
  • Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Position Criteria:

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to operate machinery and presses safely
  • Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
  • Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
  • Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
  • Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
  • Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
  • Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
  • Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
