Eaton’s Industrial Plastics division is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our 3rd shift team. This position is based at our Williamsport, MD facility. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus! $500 will be paid out after 90 days of employment with Eaton.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for producing a quality part efficiently. Eaton’s Industrial Plastics Division (IPD) provides custom complex profile plastic extrusions for a wide variety of customers and industries. Eaton's value-added fabrication such as length cutting, hole punching, texture, and tape backing for mounting applications provide customers with the capabilities to complete any production.

In this function you will:

  • Start up and operate extrusion equipment safely and properly
  • Start up jobs and produce quality parts at all times efficiently
  • Set-up jobs utilizing set-up information including the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates and screen packs
  • Take necessary steps to leave extruder and downstream equipment ready for next job
  • Clean screw installation

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
