As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will direct and coordinate fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools and systems. You must ensure that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. You will evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

  • Provide engineering support for existing production lines ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker production procedures.
  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
  • Lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation and validation.
  • Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.
  • Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and Control Plans associated with process changes and improvements.
  • Complete capability studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation.
  • Provide training for manufacturing team members.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
  • Generation of validation documentation for new or modified processes.
  • Support plant and line redesign activities and all associated qualifications.


  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience.


  • ​Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded with the ability to recognize good ideas.
  • ​Innovative thinker - should be able to envisage new and better ways of doing things. ​
  • ​Certified in validation activities preferred.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and can understand geometrical dimension and tolerances.
  • Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design
  • Experience with injection molded plastics and electro-mechanical assemblies is preferred.
