What you’ll do:

As the Manufacturing Strategy Leader for our Power Reliability Division (PRD), you will develop and implement strategy for manufacturing optimization including people, tools, process, and footprint. You will have an opportunity to drive manufacturing improvements, managing complex transformation projects while playing a critical role for manufacturing innovation and Industry 4.0 road maps. You will impact change across a high growth business through leading a functional team while partnering with 5 Plant leaders and the Energy Services central operations to develop site, division, and group manufacturing plans to support growth and performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead a functional team to drive labor productivity, key manufacturing process optimization, standardization, resiliency, and continuity across manufacturing sites.
  • Identify key manufacturing processes in PRD to determine a strategy for insource/outsource including business case development.
  • Perform financial modeling for projects to assist in transitions scenarios.
  • Develop and improve the overall manufacturing capacity mapping and improve utilization via specific KPI monitoring.
  • Develop and drive investment plans for the manufacturing technology in line with our manufacturing strategy, including Industry 4.0.
  • Drive maintenance as a function through councils and scorecards, incorporating I-4.0 predictive maintenance.
  • Own the assets investment plan and execution, ensuring selected investments generate productivity and efficiency for the organization.
  • Advocate alignment with product line management, R&D, commercial teams, and other functional strategies.
  • Use Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles to implement corrective and improvement actions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of an effective Management Operating System to drive Manufacturing Strategy performance management.

​​​​​​​ Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing operations environment for a multinational leader in a comparable size/scope role.
  • Experience leading teams in a matrix environment across multiple plant locations with varying manufacturing processes.
  • Record of accomplishment with implementation of complex manufacturing transition / footprint projects
  • Lean Certification/Six Sigma Process Improvement knowledge and experience
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale projects, with ability to operate a wide latitude for actions and recommendations
  • Experience in an Industrial Engineering discipline preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03- $200200.04 a year.
