Eatons Aerospace division has an opening for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. The position is located at the Camarillo, CA Facility.Position Overview:The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plans and Implements programs of change, using Manufacturing Engineering knowledge, up to date technology and techniques, in cooperation with the manufacturing departments in helping to achieve the company goal of getting the best quality product with the highest efficiency and lowest cost possible.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Monitor, improve and maintain processes, layouts, and part prints.+ Obtain print deviations from divisional Product Engineering and coordinate deviations at plant level.+ Maintain a constant search for identifiable and measurable cost reductions through scrap analysis and technology applications.+ Develop and implement programs/projects that support the business plan of plant management.+ Participate in capital planning, investigate equipment alternatives, prepare appropriation justifications, implement equipment, and evaluate results.+ Provide continuous support to employee involvement team and participate in the manufacturing service budgets to acceptable performance levels.+ Assist in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals.+ Implement, promote and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution+ Minimum Five (5) years experience working in a manufacturing operations role+ No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position.+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
