Eatons Power Delivery Division is currently seeking a SeniorManufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Nacogdoches.Relocation assistance will be provided.Position Overview:The Senior ManufacturingEngineer will plan, direct and execute engineering projects related tomanufacturing methods, processes, facilities, systems and equipment usingcomprehensive knowledge of existing capabilities and new technology. The SeniorManufacturing Engineer will implement of manufacture of new products or productlines with integrating the most efficient processes and the most manufacturabledesign.The Senior ManufacturingEngineer will manage high-visibility, strategic capital projects, managefocused teams, run meetings, execute major equipment purchase contracts,replicate existing equipment, and develop training and operationaldocumentation.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion ofevery employee around the world. Applies leanmanufacturing techniques as means to eliminate waste and deliver products tocustomers expectations.+ Develops and maintains robust, cost efficientmanufacturing processes and product structures consistent with leanmanufacturing practices.+ Interact with upper management and outsidesuppliers and agencies, including regulatory personnel.+ Coordinate projects with people at alllevels, departments, and facilities within the organization.+ Independently designs and develops projectsto support overall company objectives.+ Interfaces with manufacturingpersonnel to improve existing processes.+ Provide technical expertise tosupport daily operations to achieve significant improvement in productionrelated objectives.+ Investigate and resolve safetyrelated projects.+ Perform ergonomic assessments andparticipate in incident investigationsWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives andbackgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.#LI-RA1QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications+ Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering from an accredited institution+ Minimum of 3years of experience in a manufacturing environment+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout company sponsorshipPreferred qualifications:+ 5 years ofexperience in a manufacturing environment+ Lean Six Sigmacertification+ Capitalproject experience+ AutoCAD andInventor experience+ MATLABexperience+ Statisticalanalysis experience+ ProjectManagement experience+ Controlsprogramming experience+ Fabrication experiencePosition Criteria:+ Ability to performwork with little or no direct supervision+ Excellentanalytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.+ Results orientedcandidate that can drive the necessary activities to get things accomplished.+ Ability to lead and work cross functionally+ Strong Communication and Presentation SkillsWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunitiesfor all job applicants and employees.
