Eaton’s Aerospace Group is currently seeking a Master Production Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our Los Angeles, California facility (near Glendale metro).

Position Overview:

The Master Production Scheduler (MPS) will establish and maintain the production schedule for all designated make items. The MPS is responsible for level loading the production schedule, analyzing resource capacity, and implementing valid build schedules. The MPS must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain). The MPS will assist in determining and maintaining item forecast and safety stock levels. The MPS will be the gatekeeper to customer change requests and drive the plant SIOP process.

The LA facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

In this function you will:

  • Create balanced weekly production schedule by unit and dollar
  • Coordinate with multiple functional groups to determine schedule priorities
  • Drive Stability throughout end unit master schedule
  • Responsible for placement and management of MPS items to maximize customer service
  • Drive the MRP system to minimize Inventory levels
  • Drive continual schedule management of past due backlog to verify valid build schedules
  • Determine optimal end unit forecast and safety stock levels
  • Respond timely and efficiently to customer changes/requests
  • Manage strategic order confirmations
  • Drive SIOP processes
  • Ad Hoc Reporting

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in material planning and/or demand management in a manufacturing environment
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA will be considered.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $138,000.
