En Eaton (Las Piedras PR) tenemos la vacante MATERIAL HANDLER 2nd Shift. Este role tiene las siguientes responsabilidades:

Responsable del manejo y distribución de materiales a las líneas de manufactura, así como de mover producto terminado.

RESPONSABILIDADES:

  • Mantener control del inventario y el movimiento de material. Preparar documentación necesaria según los estándares de ISO 9000 establecidos e informar violaciones de los mismos.
  • Servir materiales a las líneas de producción.
  • Verificar material por inspección visual, hacer conteo y comparar contra la documentación generada.
  • Hacer inventario físico periódicamente de la materia prima.
  • Mover piezas producidas hacia el almacén y área de embarque.
  • Aplicación del sistema “Bar Code”.
  • Hacer entrada de datos y archivo según sea necesario.
  • Contabilizar y documentar “scrap” producidos por defectos y “end cuts” de materia prima.
  • Conocimiento del módulo de control de inventario MAPICS.
  • Abastecer áreas de manufactura con materia prima “raw material” a tiempo.
  • Realizar “house keeping” del área de trabajo.
  • Notificar asuntos relacionados con inventario y discrepancias en materia prima.
  • Mantener consistencia en documentación y distribución de materiales libre de errores.
  • Operar “hand truck” y otros equipos asociados para movimiento de materiales.

Qualifications

REQUISITOS DEL PUESTO:

  • Educación: Diploma de Cuarto Año o High School.
  • Experiencia: Dos años de experiencia en trabajo relacionado y experiencia previa usando Montacargas o Lifter.
  • Deseable: Experiencia previa en MAPICS o algún otro sistema de administración de inventarios.
  • Disponibilidad para trabajar el segundo turno.
