Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler- 3rd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $21.84 per hour plus a $.50 per hour shift differential. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00pm - 7:00am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Material Handler will operate all mobile equipment and lifting systems safely and sufficiently.

In this function, you will:

  • Successfully operate rigging equipment including nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars.
  • Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift
  • Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Troy, IL facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Forklift operating experience
  • Overhead crane operating experience
