Education/Special Training Required

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Verbal and written English language skills.
• Some college and/or APICS classes a plus (not required).

Qualifications/Work Experience Required

• Knowledge and understanding of Materials transaction activities and Kanban system.
• Knowledge and understanding of Material Control software, MS Office, Outlook, etc.
• Self-starter with the ability to accomplish tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Basic skills - Ability to read and follow SOP, basic reading, computer skills and math skills.
• Must have good communication skills, a customer service orientation, self-motivated, very organized, enthusiastic, detail oriented, resourceful, willing and able to work long hours (including overtime as required), and possess a sense of urgency.

Job Summary

Using SAP to create work orders and releases it to production. Verifies and issues materials to production. Sets up and replenishes Kanban bins in supermarket and pulls materials for production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Kanban Fulfillment
• Issue materials to work order
• Return materials from Work order
• Perform physical cycle counts.
• Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety, product quality and compliance with the Stryker, Quality Manual and its governing regulations.
• Perform excess and obsolete material analysis as necessary.
• Demonstrate initiative and effective problem solving skills while executing assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain material availability to the production area in compliance with operational procedures.
• Interfacing with Warehouse Team to facilitate the flow of materials. Expedite material requirements as necessary to meet production needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. routinely.
• Ability to travel long distance on occasion (<5%). Some short-distance travel may be required to support another building within the SLC area (<10%).
• Ability to perform tasks while standing/moving for long periods.
