Job Summary:
Responsible to plan and direct manufacturing operations through the facility management personnel. Is directly
responsible for the connector’s production and provides “landlord” support to the Tooling related activities that occur within the plant.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates production, distribution, planning and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles and
procedures established
2. Assures the most economical utilization of plant facilities and personnel in the manufacture of products, conferring
with Division management and plant personnel to determine and develop solutions for problems in meeting
schedules or imporving production.
3. In conjunction with customer requirements, manages the planning and scheduling of production acitivities to meet
short and long range goals in support of Division objectives and assigns work as needed
4. Reviews production plans to determine staffing requirements, tooling and equipment
5. Continuously reviews staffing and equipment availability and modifies production schedules to maximize
utilization of both.
6. Consults with the Director of Operations and director of the Tooling Product Line Business Team on capital
equipment and maintenance programs. Investigates new/alternative production equipment and recommends
courses of action.
7. Establishes and maintains appropriate records relating to overtime, downtime, etc. and prepares reports as
required.
8. Reviews quality reports reflecting defective production and assures that corrective action is taken.
9. Is responsible for adherence to approved budge and investigations/resolves variances, Assists in budget
preparation.
10. Keeps abreast of, initiates and implements up-to-date manufacturing processes, inclusive of but not limited to
ROP, Lean, SPC, ISO, Six Sigma, etc.
11. Responsible for enforcing safety standards; responsible for environmental issues pertaining to the facility.
12. Interfaces with all manufacturing support areas including Quality Control, Tool Room, Engineering, Production
Control, maintenance, Warehouse Accounting, Human Resources, etc.
13. Maintenance of non-union status.
14. May perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university and 8 - 10 years+ of related experience and/or training.
