We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Procurement Administrator to work within the Project Management Team for a successful client. This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have (or be able to acquire) SC clearance.

Leidos is looking for an applicant to come on board and successfully support the multi-functional team and to assist in the management and administration of project delivery aspects of a major defense programme delivering support to both National as well as Global defense strategies.

Your Role

  • Be the main point of contact for anyone on the programme who needs to purchase hardware, software or support.

  • Liaise with requestor to clarify what is required.

  • Engage with Leidos procurement team to request quotes.

  • Check quotes received and inform requestor to review. Flag the period of validity to the requestor.

  • Liaise with the finance team to request pricing.

  • Submit purchasing requests to the Leidos procurement team.

  • Track progress through to placement of each Purchase Order.

  • Keep the requestor informed throughout the whole process.

  • Regular reporting of requests in progress, pending and complete.

  • Deal with queries as they arise

  • Escalate when necessary

Your Responsibilities;

- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail (extremely important).

- Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

- Team worker with the ability to take own initiative and work independently.

- Self-motivated, responsible and reliable.

A very tidy and organised manner with the ability to prioritise a varied workloadGood interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
