We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Procurement Administrator to work within the Project Management Team for a successful client. This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have (or be able to acquire) SC clearance.
Leidos is looking for an applicant to come on board and successfully support the multi-functional team and to assist in the management and administration of project delivery aspects of a major defense programme delivering support to both National as well as Global defense strategies.
Be the main point of contact for anyone on the programme who needs to purchase hardware, software or support.
Liaise with requestor to clarify what is required.
Engage with Leidos procurement team to request quotes.
Check quotes received and inform requestor to review. Flag the period of validity to the requestor.
Liaise with the finance team to request pricing.
Submit purchasing requests to the Leidos procurement team.
Track progress through to placement of each Purchase Order.
Keep the requestor informed throughout the whole process.
Regular reporting of requests in progress, pending and complete.
Deal with queries as they arise
Escalate when necessary
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail (extremely important).
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Team worker with the ability to take own initiative and work independently.
- Self-motivated, responsible and reliable.
