Because the greatest risk in life, is the risk of never trying!<br>Imagine what you could do here at Novartis! <br><br>The Production Lead is responsible for the daily operations, specifically to direct, manage operations related to the Production Unit to produce and deliver product with high quality, in a compliant, efficient, and cost effective manner while safety is maintained.<br><br>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br><br>Ensure batches are executed records and applicable data are in compliance with cGMP expectations.<br><br>Author and review Standard Operating Procedures that pertain to Production-related activities.<br><br>Organize the team for daily activities and personal adjustments as necessary.<br><br>Engage with Production Management and Process Experts to identify and implement process improvements.<br><br>Maintains an “audit ready” module. Assist with internal pre-audits walkthroughs, CGMP housekeeping and general organization and upkeep of manufacturing spaces<br>.<br>Assist Production Manager with communication on job-related information during daily meetings.<br><br>Supervise the training of people who are less experienced to ensure they have the necessary technical skills and knowledge.<br><br>Integrate and harmonize best practices within areas of expertise.<br><br>Responsible for training completion of his/her team <br><br>Adhere to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety rules and regulations. And Ensure Associates are executing tasks per approved policies and applicable procedures<br><br>Ensure Associates are demonstrating the proper aseptic techniques & behaviors<br><br>Enforce of aseptic behaviors and Good Documentation Practices on the Shop Floor <br><br>Support Initial Impact Assessment for deviations and support activities related to investigations. <br><br>Interview and hire production staff in conjunction with Production Mangers and/or Head of Production.<br><br>Support a culture of safety, diversity and inclusion <br><br>Note: This position involves shift work and has a 4 day 10 hour work schedule Sundays - Wednesdays<br>• This position will involve wearing protective clothing and working in a Manufacturing environment<br><br><br>Vaccine Policy: While Novartis does not require vaccination at this time, for certain Novartis sites in the US all associates and candidates may be required to either upload an image of their COVID-19 vaccine card demonstrating proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 (or other similar evidence of vaccination) or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken by the associate or candidate within the past seven days to enter any of our sites and/or customer office or healthcare facility, as well as prior to participating in other work related off-site meetings.
