Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compiles and records production date for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Sorts and distributes work tickets or material to workers.
  • Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
  • This Clerk calculates such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets.
  • Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
  • This Clerk compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts production.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have working knowledge of the Logistics Information Systems Global Combat Support System - Army.
  • Must have working knowledge of standardized maintenance regulations - specifically DA PAM 750-8, Functional User's Manual for the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Common Access Card within the first 90 days of employment.

Desired Qualification:

  • The ideal candidate will have complete Army Military Occupational Specialty - 92A training and have attained a Skill Level of 2 to 3 or have equivalent experience (4-6 years of Production Control experience as an E5 or E6).
