Production Control Clerk 2.1 (B)
Job Summary
Purpose: The Production Control Clerk is responsible is responsible for managing shop level production control activities for the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 (APS-2).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Reports to the PC Supervisor / Lead and conducts performance evaluations as required.
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance to production personnel thereby ensuring effective contract performance and compliance.
- Ensures required reporting and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
- Reviews production data for accuracy and efficiency as it relates to production, work schedules, consumption of material, quality control, product specifications and other aspects of production.
- Consults with PC Manager, Supervisor and Senior Management as required to provide status reports, address challenges, and resolve project discrepancies as they arise.
- Shares best practices with PC personnel and processes to ensure compliance of established protocols.
- Maintains a professional, respectful, and productive work environment.
- Ensures scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in the GCSS-Army LIS System.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Formal training: Current certifications on GCSS-Army with 2-4 years of working experience (92A Military MOS is a plus)
- Must have wide-ranging knowledge of maintenance and logistics operations. A background in military production control is a plus.
- Ability to provide information reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customer.
- First-rate interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.
- First-rate computer, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistics Information Management System (LIMS) access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Driver’s license is required.
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (speaking German is a plus but not required).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of logistics and maintenance.
- Must have leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor.
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with other effectively.
