Eatons Truck division is currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our San Luis Potosi Office.The Production Coordinator is responsible for lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources according to established practices and or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.Some activities related with the position will be:+ Prepare and send production daily report.+ Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve safety, quality and manufacturing situations in order to improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.+ Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better performance.+ Coordinate and administer employees: HR incidents (attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions).+ Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business Systems (EBS) processes and problem solving tools such as ELSS (Eaton Lean Sis Sigma), Operational Assessment (OPA) and 5S+.+ Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost out opportunities and improvement ideas.+ Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and objectives and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results (CIF).+ Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, lay off and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.+ Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficiency, safe and ergonomic conditions in the area.+ Implement, promote and maintain a safe and ergonomic work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents. Investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and manage risk and hazards in your own area.+ Promote the companys vision by actively supporting Eatons ethics and values as well as quality policies.+ Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.+ Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, 3R, A3, RIEs and Bootcamps).+ Usage of Eaton ELLS, EQS and EBS process and tools.+ Promote a safe work environment using 5s+, JSA, Near Miss, STOP and GEMBA walks.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. CalificacionesRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required.+ 3 years experience minimum in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.+ English language at conversational level would be a plus.+ Leader Of People.+ Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application.+ Basic knowledge of national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, MESH, EBS, OPA, CIF, ISO/TS 16949, EQS and/or applicable regional initiatives.+ Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.+ Strong leadership skills must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.We make what matters work.
