What you’ll be doing...

You will be part of the system support team that provides critical production support to the Business for Supply Chain Planning Systems. In this role, you will partner with various Business Planning Subject Matter Experts, as well as Global Technology Solutions (GTS) to troubleshoot production defects and collaborate on resolution of fixes by providing day-to-day support with respect to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Cloud Solutions as well Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC).

In this role, you will be the Production Support Functional Lead for the IBP Supply Functional Area.

You will be responsible for managing issues and/or addressing questions in areas of Buy Plans, Supplier Collaboration/Commits, Projected Inventory as well as Transactional Data. . An important part of the role will be to develop and lead testing strategies for new projects as well as Cloud Upgrades and/or Maintenance activities and validations.

  • Acting as the liaison between technical and non-technical business partners; including but not limited to interacting with Supply Chain Planners across various business groups for all lines of business; Device Marketing Demand Planners, Supply Chain Planners, as well as Distribution Center / Logistics Operations Support Teams.
  • Executing testing activities and validations for Planning System Cloud upgrades, service pack updates, fixes, enhancements, and process changes by coordinating and conducting testing with IT and end users and System Leads.
  • Investigating issues for business partners to identify issues, help to navigate them and /or troubleshoot their issues, and assist in resolving problems related to data, ERP and Planning Systems.
  • Facilitating user acceptance testing with end users prior to deploying fixes and enhancements to production ensuring changes are working as expected through formal validations.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in SAP Planning Systems applications, specifically IBP, CAR and Ariba SCC.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Three or more years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Three or more years of supply chain experience.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills.
  • SAP Integrated Business Planning Global Certification.
  • SQL knowledge/experience.
  • Desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Mail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drives, Google Slides, PPT, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA.
  • Knowledge of HANA Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS).
  • Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
