Work you'll do/Responsibilities

The team is looking for a Product Support Engineer to help support the client's suite of applications to ensure technical issues are resolved and issue trends are analyzed to identify areas of automation. The Production Support Engineer will be onshore, in a client-facing role, for a new team that will be predominantly offshore. The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading support operations and activities by developing deep functional and technical knowledge of the applications
  • Analyzing issue trends to uncover areas of opportunity for automation
  • Performing production deployments and service restorations
  • Implementing automation and enhancements, managing ticket queues and monitoring adherence to SLAs


The Team

The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience

• 5+ years o Experience in Java (Springboot), Agile-DevOps/Agile-Scrum

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and client facing skills.

• Experience in Agile and ITSM tools
