The Manufacturing Scheduler will drive the production scheduling in support of the Devens Biologics Manufacturing Site. The role will manage the manufacturing finite schedule and drive adherence to the site production plan in collaboration with the manufacturing team. The Scheduler also ensures that any and all applicable facility maintenance is planned and scheduled to ensure facility remains in a safe and compliant state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads site planning and manufacturing scheduling process and ensures schedule adherence

  • Develops and implements strategies to improve scheduling capability and adherence. Utilizes BioG finite scheduling and modeling tool to analyze production scenarios

  • Oversee production scheduling meetings with site representatives from Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Operations, Warehouse and Maintenance

  • Partners with site engineering planning and scheduling to ensure preventative maintenances and calibration of equipment is scheduled

  • Interfaces with manufacturing management and manufacturing technology teams to delivery and review schedule adherence

  • Oversees column cycle inventories and initiates column packing planning with cross functional support team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.S. in Business, logistics, supply chain, science, engineering or related discipline is preferred

  • A minimum of 4 years Manufacturing or Supply Chain role relating to planning and scheduling

  • Experience and knowledge in Biologics manufacturing is preferred.

  • Excellent math and computer skills required, including general Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize multiple activities, including people, business processes and projects

  • Experience in finite scheduling and scenario tools is preferred

  • Excellent matrix leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence peers and cross function supporting relationships

  • Adaptable to a fast paced, complex, and ever-changing business environment

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within company

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally as critical member of site team
