Pennsylvania American Water has a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Supervisor to join our team! This role will be based out of our Norristown facility, our largest plant in Southeast, PA. As the Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of individuals that help run the day to day operations of our water treatment plant. This is a crucial role to our business as it helps ensure that clean and healthy water is being supplied to our customers and the community. You will keep the plant operational by managing a team of technicians and operators, conducting compliance reporting, and helping with capital projects.
Primary Role
Responsible for supervising front-line personnel and implementing operational processes that are engaged in the functional area of Production for water and/or wastewater operations.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in operational discipline, management, or related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Travel Requirements
- Local and occasional regional travel
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor environment, 24/7 operations
- Physical/Cognitive Requirements include ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time.
- Lift minimum of 25lbs.
- Occasional hands on work required.
Other
- Relevant state license(s) may be required or preferred
- Driver’s license required
- Certifications/Training in Safety preferred.
