EatonsPower Reliability Division is currently seeking a 3rd Shift ProductionSupervisor to join our team. This position is based at our SouthMilwaukee, WI facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.PositionOverview:TheProduction Supervisor is responsible for driving processes in their designateddepartment through the Eaton Business Systems. In this role, youwill assist the Plant Manager and Production Manager in the development ofprocesses to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, maintainmachinery and reduce overall costs. Align department requirements with Eatons QualityManagement System. Manage department operations and prioritize productionrequirements to meet on-time delivery for our customers+ ExecuteEatons Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF): Create the basis for continuousimprovement by ensuring that standardized processes arefollowed. Empower employees to improve the standard work andimplement countermeasures when needed.+ Promotea team environment and develop direct reports through problem solving skillsets and other cross-training opportunities. You will facilitatecooperation across shifts and among other department supervisors+ AssistManagement Team in determining personnel requirements, provide necessarytraining resources for new employees, and facilitate the job bidding process. Monitorand provide employee coaching with respect to safety, quality and productivityperformance (attendance, training, coaching, overtime, vacation requests etc.)+ Assigndaily work schedules and review in-process inventory reports to ensurealignment to business goals+ Leaddaily accountability meetings with a cross-functional team focused ondepartmental performance and issue resolution. Lead weeklydepartment meetings to communicate safety topics, department or plant-wideactivities, business updates and policy/procedural changes as needed+ Monitormachinery, equipment and facility, and initiate maintenance work orders asrequired to ensure efficient and safe working conditions. Initiateand coordinate assistance as required from other support functions (e.g.Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain etc.)Whenwe embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each ofus unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required+ Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:+ Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience+ Lean/Six Sigma certifications+ Prior experience working in an Engineered to Order environment+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP+ Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality methods and how these operations relate to problems with ares of responsibilityPosition Success Criteria:+ Conflict resolution experience and strong problem-solving ability+ Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills+ Time management skills+ Ability to communicate effectively+ Ability to manage priorities and crisis situations+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP+ Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality methods and how these operations relate to problems within areas of responsibilityWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
