Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Eatons BLine division is currently seeking a ProductionSupervisor 1st Shift to join our team. This position is based atour Sherman, TX facility.Position Overview:The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating production activities andleading hourly employees to meet customer requirements while providing a safework environment. Its where bold,bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you canhelp us reach ours.In this function, you will:+ Conduct Daily Visual Managementstand-up meeting with all department personnel in area of responsibilityfocusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost/productivity, and inventory.+ Utilize lean six sigmamethodologies to reduce operational costs, inventory and lead-times aswell as ensure alignment with long-term manufacturing strategies.+ Develop and establishmanufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitoremployee work requirements in order to meet customer deadlines.+ Enforce and implement safetypolicies and programs, meet operating budgets, complete continuous improvementplans, and coach employees on behavior/performance issues and initiatedisciplinary actions if required.+ Monitor control plans,troubleshoot workmanship problems and supervise production activities toensure manufactured products meet or exceed established qualityrequirements.+ Create the basis for continuousimprovement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardize workprocesses are followed and countermeasures are implemented wherenecessary.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives andbackgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ BachelorsDegree from an accredited institution+ Minimumof two (2) years of experience in a Manufacturing or Operationsenvironment, or a combination of these functions+ Minimumof two (2) years of leadership experience+ Relocationassistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currentlylocated within a 50 mile radius of Sherman, TX, will be considered. ActiveDuty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographicalarea limitation.+ Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without companysponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Operations or Engineering from anaccredited institution+ 5 years of experience leading teams within amanufacturing environment+ SAP business system experience+ Experience implementing continuous improvement initiativesPosition Success Criteria :+ Excellent problem-solving skills.+ Self-starter, able to work withminimal supervision.+ Strong time management skills.+ Strong oral and writtencommunication skills.+ Able to handle multiple andconflicting priorities.+ Ability to work overtime, includingbeing a part of the rotating Saturday scheduleWe make what matters work.
