Product Quality Engineer

What Will You Do?

You will work primarily within the Continuous Improvement: Product Quality Group of the Ashley Companies on the advancement of product-line wide quality performance to meet or exceed the organization’s strategic quality plan. You will be responsible for utilizing the Continuous Improvement tools and thinking processes of Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Statistical Process Control, and Lean to define and execute improvements within the global supply chain. You will participate in and make recommendations to quality improvement teams that contribute to the improvement within departmental and organizational communication processes, methodologies and procedures.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Understanding of Lean Processes

  • Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite and Solidworks

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
